Hello everyone, and welcome to my lovely little website. “Jessi, why did you make a website?” You may ask. There are a number of reasons why any one person may make a website, but my primary reason is simply to help people find me online. It’s kind of like having an online business card, but your business card is also a telephone and can put you into contact with someone immediately, and your business card also has a picture of you, so if people can’t figure out if you’re named Jessi Jaraki or Tanka Jahari, at least there’s a visual aid to help them tell the difference.
Here are my current intentions as to the layout and functionality of this website:
About — as a birds-eye-view cover letter of my life, this page speaks to some of my ethos as a person. It’s info that wouldn’t go on LinkedIn, but should metaphorically come stapled onto the back of it.
News — this is where I’ve gathered all things marvellous and miscellaneous. It will be a place for little tidbits that aren’t big enough to warrant going on the about page.
Writing — this is the landing pad for some of my creative projects (stay tuned)!
Social Media — serves as a link tree for other places that I can be found online.
Thanks for visiting!
